You have to hand it to the guys from Maroon 5. The band has been churning out hits for over a decade and they still have their finger on the pulse. “Maps,” the lead single from V reached number six on the Billboard Hot 100, while the follow-up “Animals” did even better — peaking at number three. As such, expectations are high for the album’s latest cut. And happily, “Sugar” is another ridiculously catchy jam destined for heavy rotation on pop radio.

Adam Levine and the boys unveiled the candy-colored cover art (above) on Twitter today (January 13), as well as some stills from the soon-to-be-released video. After dropping two of the most depressing/disturbing visuals in recent memory with “Maps” and “Animals,” it looks like Maroon 5 is taking a more lighthearted approach with “Sugar.” The band shared stills from the clip, which reveal party scenes and a road trip. Check out the pics after the jump.
