Rebecca Ferguson Shines In "I Hope"
Rebecca Ferguson premieres her elegant, heartfelt video for her 'Freedom' single.

The last time we heard from soulful X Factor UK finalist Rebecca Ferguson, she was lifting us higher with her glorious “I Hope” off of her sophomore record, Freedom. A little over a year later, and it seems the songstress has found time to fit another project under her belt…and it’s a tribute.

Lady Sings The Blues is Rebecca’s latest studio album, due to be released on March 9. The album will be a track-by-track reinterpretation of Billie Holiday‘s classic 1956 record, in honor of what would have been her 100th birthday. Ferguson recorded the album in Los Angeles with producer Troy Miller at Capitol Studios, and will be performing the album in its entirety during a residency at St. James Theatre in London in February and March.

Are you excited to hear Rebecca’s reinterpretation of the classic record? Check out the album cover and watch the “Making Of” feature ahead of the album’s release after the jump.
