Selena Gomez Hits The Studio With Zedd
Selena Gomez has already started work on her first LP for Interscope Records with German DJ Zedd.

Selena Gomez‘s first album for Interscope Records seems to be coming along nicely. The 22-year-old has been logging plenty of hours in the studio with German DJ Zedd (he produced songs on Lady Gaga‘s ARTPOP and recently collaborated with Ariana Grande on smash hit “Break Free.” However, Sel hasn’t turned her back the duo behind recent hit “The Heart Wants What It Wants.” As it turns out, she has also been cutting tracks with Rock Mafia.

“Working with @selenagomez… u ready ?” they tweeted last night (January 13). While the prospect of Selena exploring new sounds with Zedd is tantalizing, it’s great to hear that the triple threat is still working with Tim James and Antonina Armato. The hitmakers helped Sel tap into something raw and organic on “The Heart Wants What It Wants” — a track which subsequently became her (equal) biggest hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
