Sophia Grace’s “Best Friend” Has Charted On The Hot 100
Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor had better buckle down and hold onto their wigs, because pre-teen hitmaker Sophia Grace is angling for the throne. Early last week the 11-year-old pop force unleashed her edgy video for slinky R&B soul jam “Best Friend.” Cut to today, when Billboard posted its latest Hot 100 chart, and there’s Sophia Grace — or should we say Slaymazing Grace? — making her stunning debut at #87.
Before she was stuntin’ with her clique at the club, Sophia was best known for pairing up with her hype girl Rosie (who is also her cousin) a few years back for a YouTube cover of Nicki Minaj‘s “Super Bass.” The clip went viral, leading to the two English divas’ frequent appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2011 and 2012.
We’re not really sure what happened to Rosie since then, but here’s hoping Sophia is popping a Snapple cap over her latest bout of success.
