Nick Jonas and Tinashe will open for the 'New Classic' pop rapper.

B.o.B. lends not one, but two verses in his pop-rap crossover remix of Nick Jonas‘ Top 10 hit “Jealous.” Throughout, the Decatur, Ga., rapper cleverly warns listeners of the woman who won him over, only to string him along: “Peanut butter and jealous, adjust the possessive / She even got the preacher sweatin’ while he taking collections.” This, along with his remix of Mary Lambert‘s “Secrets,” shows how B.o.B.’s still capable of writing guest verses for pop songs without dumbing down his wordplay or disrupting the song’s overall mood — a still-rare feat, apparently.

B.o.B. had capped 2013 with his third album Underground Luxury, where he tried to immerse himself with current hip-hop sounds, as dictated by (still-dominant) producers like DJ Mustard and Mike WiLL Made It. For rap fans who first heard B.o.B. in 2007’s “Haterz Everywhere,” Underground Luxury could be considered a return to his roots. Still, this full-length was also a departure from the pop-rap efforts that made him known worldwide, beginning with the Bruno Mars-featuring “Nothin’ On You” and the Hayley Williams-featuring “Airplanes” and leading to Taylor Swift collaboration “Both of Us.”
