The Giorgio Moroder project — his first artist album in over 30 years — kicked off with a bang last year in the form of “74 Is The New 24,” along with a press release that unveiled the enviable list of contributors, including Kylie Minogue, Sia, Charli XCX and Britney Spears.

Now, the legendary disco producer responsible for everything from Donna Summer‘s “I Feel Love” to Blondie‘s “Call Me” is starting to speak out about his experience creating the album, including some very subtle hints about what to expect.

For instance, the Britney feature will be “an old song,” which he says she put her “special touch” on while recording the track. And it was all her idea! “Britney actually came to me. She asked me if I was interested in doing an old song, which obviously I liked and I knew.” A Coverney! How exciting! He also explains that he loved Sia’s “Titanium” with David Guetta, as well as “Diamonds” for Rihanna. “As busy as she is, she was ready to work with me so that was quite nice,” he says.

What else did the producer have to say about his upcoming LP? Watch up top.
