Backstreet Boys are getting more personal than ever before for their forthcoming documentary Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of, and this new sneak peek proves just that! Posted by Billboard, the 60-second preview clip shows band member Brian Littrell discussing how they did not have creative control over their careers during the early stages.

“When we were kids it was different: we were told what to do, told what to say. And now it’s like, you know what? I do have a voice,” he muses. “I want to think for myself. I want to make music for me. I want to make music for our fans, I want to make everybody happy.” Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of will show BSB recording and touring for their latest LP, In a World Like This (released in July 2013) and their reflection on their journey to fame

Look out for the documentary in theaters and Video-On-Demand on January 30, and view the clip after the jump!
