John Legend, Rita Ora, Adam Levine Tunes Up For Best Original Song

The 87th annual Academy Awards is shaping up to be an interesting one, due to its announcement of unexpected performers. Thanks to Diane Warren, we’re aware that Rita Ora will be singing at the ceremony — most likely the Oscar-nominated “Grateful” from Beyond The Lights. Now, you can add Adam Levine to the lineup!

The Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice coach revealed the news on Twitter, stating: “So…I’ll be singing at the #OSCARS!!! Whaaaat??!?!? Thank you @theAcademy! #LostStars.” It’s safe to say that he’s pretty excited. Levine will perform “Lost Stars,” which is from the Begin Again soundtrack. John Legend and Common‘s “Glory” tune from Selma is also up for a nomination, so it’s possible the duo will perform as well. View the tweet after the jump!
