Taylor Swift’s Twitter Account Was Briefly Hacked, And All Hell Broke Loose Amongst The Swifties
There are few more passionately dedicated fanbases than Taylor Swift‘s Swifties. Just ask Diplo about it! And when Tay Tay’s in trouble, you can bet: They’re going to be freaking the f–k out about it.
Earlier this morning, the 1989 diva’s Twitter account began tweeting out some strange follow requests. The accounts in question are seemingly run by the leader of a Lizard Squard, a hacking collective allegedly also responsible for the brief Facebook outage last night. Although the mystery tweets only lingered in cyberspace for about 15 minutes, the damage was already done, and the entirety of the fan base briefly lost it on Twitter.
