Shawn Mendes' "Something Big" Video
Shawn Mendes rules the neighborhood in his feel-good "Something Big" video. Check it out.

Shawn Mendes heralded the arrival of the social media superstar when he leveraged a huge following on video-sharing app Vine into a legitimate music career with debut single “Life Of The Party.” The piano ballad sold 200,000+ downloads in its first week, landing at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100. He followed that up with upbeat anthem “Something Big” in late 2014 and now unveils the cover of debut LP Handwritten (due April 28).

The simple image — it’s just a headshot with lyrics scrawled in the background — is reflective of the 16-year-old’s no-fuss approach and pride in writing his own music. Shawn’s debut EP peaked at number five on the Billboard 200, so expectations are understandably high for his first long-player. The set contains “Something Big” (surely “Life Of The Party” will at least be a bonus track?) but the full tracklist is yet to be announced.
