Katy Perry, Missy Elliott And Lenny Kravitz At The Super Bowl: Watch The Halftime Show

Glendale, Arizona, you were properly Kitty Purried on Sunday (February 1) night.

Katy Perry pulled out the big guns — and a very big cat — as she proceeded to ride into the University of Phoenix Stadium on a giant lion, change outfits several times, bring Lenny Kravitz onto the stage for a sexy, rocktastic feature on “I Kissed A Girl” and even step aside so that hip hop legend Missy Elliott could take the stage for a heart-stopping, scene-stealing couple of minutes during the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show.

Perry ripped through “Roar,” “Dark Horse,” “California Gurls” and “Firework” during the musical Super Bowl spectacle, and reminded viewers all over the world just why she’s one of pop’s most prolific hit-makers.

But, damn — we said it before and we’ll say it again: When Missy hit the stage for the one-two punch of “Get Ur Freak On” and “Work It,” it was like the fact that this woman hasn’t released an album in 10 (!!) years just melted away.

Missy, we need you — please get back in The Kitchen and cook up some hits, pronto!
