Katy Perry To Perform At The 2015 Grammys
Will her awards show set be a "Firework"? Not exactly, according to insiders.

Mary J. Blige is to duet with Sam Smith at the 2015 Grammys, the awards show just announced.

It’s likely that these two soul singers will perform their version of Smith’s “Stay With Me,” his biggest hit from his debut album In the Lonely Hour. Then again, by now they have worked extensively together: For her 13th album The London Sessions (an Idolator favorite), Blige teamed with rising U.K. stars like Smith, but also Disclosure, Naughty Boy and Emeli Sande to reimagine the music she listened to growing up — pensive R&B ballads, matched with balls-to-the-wall house.

The 57th Grammy Awards airs this Sunday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. EST. Blige is up for Best Dance Recording, with her version (or, let’s face facts, upgrade) of Disclosure‘s “F For You.” Meanwhile, Smith is tied with Beyonce and Pharrell for the most nominations; he is up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist, among other categories.
