Charli XCX's "Doing It" On 'Jimmy Kimmel': Watch
Charli XCX recently performed at the late night TV show, and boy, did she make an impression.

Lennon and Maisy have released their cover of Charli XCX‘s “Boom Clap,” a stripped-down and sentimental take on the bold Fault of Our Stars smash.

To fans of ABC’s Nashville, this sort of approach is to be expected from the real-life sister duo who play Connie Britton‘s daughters. During the first season, Lennon, age 15, and Maisy, 11, made an immediate impression with their country-leaning cover of the Lumineers‘ already-folk-y “Ho Hey,” as their version charted in the Top 40 soon thereafter.

However, longtime followers of Lennon and Maisy should see that actually, they’re also returning to their (almost) forgotten pop roots with this Charli XCX song. Three years ago, Lennon and Maisy recorded a lovely, handclap-and-tub rendition of Robyn‘s “Call Your Girlfriend,” at what appeared to be their dining room table.

A studio version of Lennon and Maisy’s “Boom Clap” is available on iTunes now. See the sister duo’s live rendition of the Charli XCX song up top, then revisit their Nashville cover of “Ho Hey” below.
