Is the 'Walking Dead' premiere to blame?

The pop music pool is ever-flowing with talented ladies, and the genre’s latest addition is FRANKIE! The cool Oakland, California-bred chick is back with her new tune, which we at Idolator are premiering today (February 10). Simply titled “Problems Problems,” it is a head-bopping track that reflects the 23-year-old’s quirky, vintage-inspired persona.

The tune is filled with a catchy hook that will no doubt get stuck in your head, thanks to the singer’s babydoll voice floating over the snappy, percussion-based production. “Problems Problems” is the latest from FRANKIE’s forthcoming six-track EP, appropriately titled Dreamstate. Take a listen to the track below!

“I want to bridge together the sound of women from the ’70s, like Stevie Nicks and Joni Mitchell, with women from the ’90s, like Alanis Morissette and The Spice Girls,” FRANKIE says about her musical style. “They were completely unique, sang exactly what was on their minds and represented a real time of girl power, which is something I try to channel into my music.”
