After a couple of sneaky previews, Charlie Puth‘s major label debut single is here in full! The newcomer, who built a loyal following on YouTube before being signed to Atlantic Records, teams up with “All About That Bass” diva Meghan Trainor for a Motown-inspired duet called “Marvin Gaye.” “You got the healing that I want, just like they say in the song,” they chirp in the catchy chorus. “Until the dawn, let’s Marvin Gaye and get it on.”

“Marvin Gaye” is a natural fit for Meghan. The smooth anthem tune taps into the same retro-sound that she explores on debut LP Title. “We did a song, it’s amazing,” promised Meghan in their announcement video. “It’s the first song I cut that I haven’t written.” The collaborators have also promised to perform the song live on the Grammy-nominated diva’s upcoming That Bass Tour.
