Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” And Beyoncé’s “Run The World (Girls)” Featured In ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ Trailer: Watch
Are you, like, totally aca-obsessed with Pitch Perfect? Well, don’t worry: The Barden Bellas are returning to the stage another round in Pitch Perfect 2, out later this year. And in a new teaser trailer released this week, the talented troupe of lady singers are taking on some of our favorite modern pop smashes.
The movie, which stars Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson and pop scribe Ester Dean, sees the girls taking on an even bigger challenge, competing at the world championships against some pretty tough competitors. Rebel opens the trailer by performing a hilarious take on Miley Cyrus‘ “Wrecking Ball” (with a devastating wardrobe malfunction), and later on, we get a glimpse of the girls taking on Beyoncé‘s empowerment anthem, “Run The World (Girls).” Looks pretty promising for fans of the original!
