Fifth Harmony Land Top 5 Debut While Taylor Swift Tops Album Chart For 11th Week

Taylor Swift keeps being Taylor Swift, as her latest LP 1989 (108,000 units) spends an 11th non-consecutive week at #1 on the Billboard 200. Since its release 15 weeks ago, only four of those have been spent off the chart throne — and even then, 1989 was hovering close by in the runner-up spot. 1989 is now tied with Swift’s 2008 sophomore album Fearless for her longest stretch at #1 on the main album roundup.

That leaves the 53rd NOW compilation (99,000 units) to go in this week at #2, while X Factor-formed vocal troupe Fifth Harmony hop into the #5 position with their debut LP, Reflection (80,000 units, 62,000 actual sales). 5H previously made an appearance in the Top 10 in fall 2013, when their debut EP Better Together landed at #6.
