Florence Is Back!
Florence + The Machine tease their third LP with a video for "How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful."

The drought for new Florence + The Machine music is finally over! A couple of days after teasing their third LP How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (due June 2) with a video for the most instrumental title track, Flo and friends unveil the set’s official lead single. “What Kind Of Man” premiered on BBC Radio 1 earlier today (February 12) and, from the first listen, it’s clear that the Brits have reconnected with the (melodic) fury of their debut LP.

After beginning with an eerie, quasi-a cappella introduction, “What Kind Of Man” soon evolves into the ethereal-yet-angry pop/rock of Lungs highlights “Kiss With A Fist” and “Howl.” “To let me dangle at a cruel angle, while my feet don’t touch the floor,” Florence wails. “Sometimes you’re half in and then you’re half out, but you never close the door. What kind of man loves like this?” The video for the band’s new single is expected to drop later today.
