Taylor Swift Premieres Her “Style” Video: Watch
After unveiling various (and mysterious) teaser previews, Taylor Swift‘s “Style” video has officially released today (February 13)! Shot by film director Kyle Newman, it is quite the stylized clip (pun intended)! The visual shows hazy, dream-like projects of the pop singer’s face and silhouette — which is all personal footage from Swift herself.
There is not much to the video, really. Close-up shots of the singer donning her signature red lip, a hunky man gazing at her projections on a wall and slow-motion effects are pretty much all it entails. But it does make for solid inspiration for your upcoming Spring quasi-photo shoots on Tumblr! Oh, for those die-hard Swifties out there, the clip also includes a Harry Styles reference with those paper airplane necklaces.
“Style” follows singles and fellow chart-lovers like “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space,” which all hail from Swift’s platinum-selling record 1989. Look out for the singer when she begins The 1989 World Tour, kicking off on May 5 in Tokyo.
