Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon opened the star-studded Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special tonight (February 15) by rapping/singing their way through “The History Of SNL.” The amusing medley referenced a variety of sketches from the show’s four-decade long history including The Blues Brothers, The Californians and The Lonely Island‘s “Dick In A Box.”

The witty intro is the first of many skits and performances from former cast members and musical guests like Taylor Swift and Kanye West. Watch the dialogue up top.
