What in the living fuck is this fantastically amazing, borderline horrifying new song “Fucking Bitches In The Hood,” you might ask? Why, it’s the debut single from your soon-to-be-favorite Swedish electro-pop act, Death Team! We dare you to not sing along to the catchy, sing-song jam, and to not get a wicked thrill out of the duo’s music video for the track, which Idolator is premiering today.

In the visual, which was directed by Mark Zibert and shot at what is apparently the most dangerous bowling alley in all of Toronto, Death Team’s Mayka Edd delivers her sassy, ironic lyrics while utter chaos ensues in the lanes behind her: Women beat the shit out of each other over a stack of french fries; two other guys throw punches amid a row of arcade games; another nutjob lady starts kicking the living hell out of some guy for apparently no reason at all.

Mayka’s partner in Swedepop crime here is Johen Rafael Tilli, the other half of Death Team.

“Since both of us were in a lot of fights as youngsters, we felt that it would be pretty natural to make the first Death Team music video about fighting and anger issues,” Mayka tells Idolator. “People are hanging out in an bowling alley where they are drinking and having fun. But as the song’s chorus echoes in the background, ‘I’m the kind of person that you don’t wanna fuck with’, frustration grows and people start to fight each other like crazy. At the same time the band continues to perform the song as if they were part of another universe.”

Personally, we kind of love Mayka’s fashion sense, which calls to mind the iconic Lady Miss Kier from Deee-Lite!
