Nick Jonas To Star In 'Scream Queens'
Nick Jonas is heading back to the silver screen for this Ryan Murphy-directed comedy.

Nick Jonas stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (February 20) to perform “Chains,” his latest musical effort to show that he’s all grown up.

Jonas opens his 2014 self-titled album with the dramatic “Chains,” where he sounds pained to be trapped in a relationship — a far cry from his teen pop days as one-third of Jonas Brothers. It’s a logical follow-up single to the Miguel-recalling “Jealous,” which was soulful but also lighthearted.

While on The Tonight Show, though, Jonas appeared to be a little stiff, as his percussionists — leggy women, baring their midriffs — stole the show. When they weren’t pounding on their crystal clear drums, they were moving their hips to the song’s rhythm, being drummers and back-up dancers at the same damn time.

As host Jimmy Fallon points out, Jonas hosts Nickelodeon’s Kid Choice Awards on March 28. Watch him perform “Chains” up top.
