Rihanna’s “Towards The Sun” From ‘Home’ Premieres On BBC Radio 1: Listen
Rihanna will perform at the 2015 BRIT Awards, at least, according to London Drum Company.
Surprise! BBC Radio 1 pulled a fast one on all of us this AM by premiering a brand new Rihanna song.
But before you get ahead of yourself: This isn’t for R8! Instead, the new song, entitled “Towards The Sun,” comes as part of RiRi’s upcoming soundtrack for Home, the animated DreamWorks film out next month.
Unlike the acoustic bent of “FourFiveSeconds,” the song instead most immediately recalls “Princess Of China,” her tribal collaboration with Coldplay. “Turn your face towards the sun, let the shadows fall behind you,” she declares in a high voice.
