Emile Haynie Talks Debut Album In 'Complex' Interview
Emile Haynie talks working with Lana and Kanye West in an interview ahead of the release of his debut.

Producer Emile Haynie is responsible for crafting hit records for pop stars over the past decade, having worked with everyone from Kanye West to Kid Cudi to Lana Del Rey. It’s no surprise, then, to learn that he had more than a few friends willing to collaborate with him on his debut studio album, We Fall, which was released today (February 24) and now streaming on Spotify.

The album is essentially a deeply personal break-up record, interpreted by dozens of talented musicians including Brian Wilson, Lykke Li, Lana Del Rey, Nate Ruess, Father John Misty and Miike Snow‘s Andrew Wyatt. Prior to the release, Haynie released a few songs from the set, including the dreamy, Lana-assisted “Wait For Life” and “Come Find Me” with Lykke Li and The XX‘s Romy Madley Croft.

Stream the entirety of We Fall below, and let us know your thoughts about the producer’s debut artist album in the comments.
