Katelyn Tarver’s “Weekend Millionaires”: Idolator Premiere
The pop music pool is ever-flowing with talented ladies this year, and the genre’s latest addition is Katelyn Tarver! The Georgia native plans to warm up your chilly East Coast morning with “Weekend Millionaires,” which we at Idolator are premiering today (February 24).
You may recognize Tarver from shows like The Secret Life Of The American Teenager and Big Time Rush, but she is also a dedicated singer. This new track is a light and airy pop mid-tempo that will have you ready for the weekend (it is three more days till Friday, after all).
The singer’s delicate vocals float over the bubbly percussion and bright synths as she plans on living the sweet life — if only for a short period of time. “Weekend Millionaires” is the first taste of Katelyn Tarver’s forthcoming, as-yet-titled album that she recorded with Ludwig Goransson (Childish Gambino, Haim, etc). There is no set release date as of now, but look out for it soon.
