Shift K3Y Releases “Name And Number”: Watch The Lyric Video
It’s quite clear that UK dance artists had the best year ever in 2014 once their music hit international airwaves. Now they are continuing their reign in the current months, and Shift K3y is one of the musicians on the ride! The London producer (whose real name is Lewis Shay Jankel) has released the lyric video for his latest single, “Name and Number.”
The tune, off his forthcoming debut album, is a sparkling uptempo with slinky vocals and a thumping bass that will have your feet moving on the dancefloor. The artist revealed to Digital Spy, “I started the track two years ago, around the same time I made my debut single, in my humble bedroom studio with a talented writer called Kingsley Brown. I constantly watch guys treat their girls with little to no respect, ‘Name and Number’ stems from those emotions.”
“Name And Number” is the follow-up to tracks like “I Know” and “Touch,” which arrived stateside last July. It will officially be released on May 4 via Columbia Records. Watch the lyric video below, and let us know if you’re digging it in the comments section!
