Prince Releases New Single “What If”: Listen
Following the 2014 release of his two albums PlectrumElectrum with 3rdEyeGirl and Art Official Age, Prince is returning with a new single! The artist debuted the surprise tune Louisville radio station WFPK, simply titled “What If.”
According to Consequence Of Sound, the tune is a reworking of a Christian song by Nichole Nordeman. “What If” is jagged rock uptempo filled with sharp electronic riffs and guest vocals from 3rdEyeGirl drummer, Hannah Welton.
Prince is kicking off his surprise Hit & Run tour tomorrow (March 14) in Louisville, KY. Take a listen to “What If” below!
