Kendrick Lamar’s ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ Arrives A Week Early: Stream The Album
Woah, no one saw this one coming! Kendrick Lamar‘s third studio LP, To Pimp A Butterfly, was originally scheduled for a March 23 release. But in an unexpected turn of events, the album dropped late last night (March 15)! The release coincides with the 20th anniversary of Tupac’s third project Me Against the World, which K. Dot alluded to in a series of tweets: “Yesterday. March 14th. Was a Special Day.” and “20 yrs. Later.”
The clean and explicit versions are now on iTunes, which you can click here to purchase, and is streaming on Spotify as well.
To Pimp A Butterfly has 16 tracks with features from Snoop Dogg, Ron Isley, Bilal, James Fauntleroy, George Clinton and more. It also includes tunes like “i,” “The Blacker The Berry” and “King Kunta.”
