Natalia Kills and Willy Moon have officially been axed from The X Factor New Zealand.

The Trouble songstress and her husband were confirmed to be removed from the show by producers on Monday following a bizarre tirade against contestant Joe Irvine during Sunday night’s show, whom the duo accused of “copying” Moon’s aesthetic.

“As an artist who respects creative integrity and intellectual property, I am disgusted at how much you’ve copied my husband. From the hair to the suit, do you not have any value or respect for originality?” Natalia tore into the contestant, quickly drowned out by boos from the audience. “You make me sick. It’s absolutely disgusting. You have no identity, I can’t stand it. I’m ashamed to be here.”

Moon assisted in the bullying bash with his wife, likening the contestant to Norman Bates. “I feel like you’re going to stitch someone’s skin to your face and then kill everybody in the audience.”

Fellow judge Melanie Blatt of All Saints could not contain her contempt following the bizarre rant. “Ive tried to keep my cool and stay professional but really @nataliakills ? Sorry love , you’re a twat,” she Instagrammed.

And, in less than a day, the two were removed from the panel due to pressure from corporate sponsors like McDonald’s. “We no longer have confidence that Kills and Moon are the right people to perform the role of X Factor judges and they will leave the show, effective immediately,” said MediaWorks chief executive Mark Weldon.

“I love you guys, thanks for your support & understanding my passionate opinions! You know what they say about me… ” Natalia tweeted soon after the incident, including a link to the video her Trouble single, “Problem.”
