Ellie Goulding Throws Shade About Natalia Kills and Willy Moon
Ellie Goulding tweeted about the duo's bizarre, bullying rant that cost them their judging jobs.

The reaction to Natalia Kills and Willy Moon‘s tirade against a contestant on X Factor New Zealand, which would quickly cost them their jobs, has been swiftly moving throughout the pop world: Ellie Goulding dug into the couple on Twitter, while Calvin Harris fully trashed them on Snapchat. A few more stars just got involved as well, but this time, they’re focusing on Joe Irvine, the contestant who was dealt the harsh criticism.

Last night, Joe uploaded two photos: One of a handwritten note from Lorde, and the other of some rather delicious looking cupcakes. “lorde sent me cupcakes I thank u so much I love them,” he excitedly wrote.

The message reads as follows:

“Hi Joe, Just wanted to say: Your individuality, positive energy and spirit are infectious! I think you’re doing an awesome job on the show so far. I’m a performer too and I wanted to say that no matter how many people make fun of me for how I dress, move and act, I’m being me — and that’s what’s important. Good luck and lots of love, Lorde.”

Quite a sweet note…and an equally sweet treat!

And that’s not all: x crooner Ed Sheeran also got in on the encouragement, sending a tweet Joe’s way yesterday. “don’t worry about what anyone else says man. Enjoy yourself with it, that’s what singing is about, not what other people think,” he wrote.
