While out promoting her #1 studio album Piece By Piece, the “Heartbeat Song” chanteuse came to SiriusXM’s Hits 1 to perform a soulful rendition of Chapman’s 1996 classic — and she really nailed it. Backed by a guitar, drums and some sweet organ, Kelly effectively takes us all to church with her powerful and soulful rendition. Just wait until she starts really belting toward the end…there’s a reason she won Idol all those years ago!
