NERO Return With “The Thrill”: Listen To The London Trio’s New Electo-Pop Single

You may recall British trio NERO from their breakout hit “Promises,” a #1 single in the UK, and Gold-certified here in the States (despite only reaching #70 on the Billboard Hot 100) — plus the Skrillex & NERO Remix of the song won a Grammy in 2013. They also appeared on the 2013 soundtrack to The Great Gatsby.

The band is now back with brand new single “The Thrill,” which finds them wisely shedding their dubstep leanings of yore and going for a more electro-pop sound.

Alana Watson offers up her trademark breathy vocal delivery here, atop a dominant wall of synths and forceful mid-tempo beat. It’s all very loud, incredibly catchy and, as the song’s title suggests, quite a thrill.
