Jason Derulo Interview
Jason Derulo talks smash hit "Talk Dirty," the US release of his similarly-titled LP and tour.

Dropping music videos on apps is all the rage. Madonna recently premiered “Living For Love” on Snapchat and, today (March 23), Jason Derulo joins the marketing revolution by debuting his “Want To Want Me” visual on Tinder. At this rate, Adele will launch her next visual on Grindr.

So, why did the “Talk Dirty” hitmaker choose Tinder? “I know my fans are tapped into social networking so what better way to launch my video for ‘Want To Want Me’ than through one of the fastest rising social networking apps, Tinder,” the 25-year-old wrote in a press release. “I see this app as the wave of the future. I know my fans will swipe right.” Clever.

Could the Tinder roll-out also be a dig at ex-girlfriend Jordin Sparks? Perhaps it’s his way of replying to her shady, Instagram-referencing jam “Double Tap.” Regardless, it’s a fairly slick visual that finds Jason spending a lot of time without a shirt. There’s also a performance scene and a lot of making out. It’s not particularly noteworthy, but at least the song is great. Watch up top.

Is this one of Jason’s best videos? Have your say in the comments below.
