Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears’ collaboration has been discussed for months now (since November, to be exact) without any hard evidence, but it turns out that now the single has a set release date! In an interview with Britney for People magazine revealed today (March 25), the track will reportedly drop on May 5 — the perfect time to get everyone in the summer mood.

Earlier this month, I-G-G-Y revealed to AP her relationship with Spears. “Since I’ve met her, now we keep bumping into each other in the street.” As for their much-anticipated anthem? “I don’t know if I needed re-inspiring, but [the song] just made me extra excited to want to put out new music.” The rapstress has also confirmed the tune on Twitter on various occasions.

According to the People interview, the collaboration (which is rumored to be called “Pretty Girls”) will be Spears’ single. This means the pop princess’ ninth studio LP, the follow-up to 2013’s flawed Britney Jean, could arrive very soon. Well, in our dreams at least — the singer isn’t planning to release another project just yet.
