Find out what all four Idolator editors had to say about the polarizing track!

Jasmine Villegas is breaking free from a rocky relationship with her new video, “Walk Away.” The Julian Muller-directed clip premiered today (March 27), and features Diddy’s eldest son — Quincy Brown — as the singer’s love interest.

The emotional clip finds Villegas toying with leaving her man while looking stunning as she broods for the camera. It pairs well with the song’s thrashing bassline and striking vocals from the 21-year-old chanteuse.

She revealed to Complex her thoughts behind the video: “I wanted to show that no matter how bad the situation you’re in is, you have to realize your self-worth and have the courage to walk away. I wanted my friends in the video because to leave a hard place, you need the support of your loved ones.”

“Walk Away” follows Villegas’ current track, “One Night” — a sultry and club-ready collaboration with Jeremih and Problem.

Jasmine Villegas is currently wrapping up with Fifth Harmony’s Reflection Tour, which ends today in Glenside, PA.
