As if Niykee Heaton’s eye-popping, heart-stopping Instagram posts aren’t raunchy enough, the rising singer/songwriter has upped the ante even further by posing topless for Complex magazine. The 20-year-old shows off her famous curves in the shoot and brazenly reminds everyone why she’s the undisputed queen of thirst traps. But what about her (actually very, very good) music?
The Chicago babe isn’t worried about her sexy image turning off fans. “I can use what I have aesthetically to draw people in, then why not use it?” she told Complex. “I’m not going to put on a turtleneck just to prove a point, or to make people feel more comfortable according to society’s standards. If people think I’m hot, cool. They’ll come and look at my bikini pics, and then they’ll click on my Soundcloud, and love my music.”
Niykee released her debut EP Bad Intentions last year via All Def Digital and continues to generate a lot of attention with her rap covers. She also occasionally drops new tracks and demos like the gritty “Rain Dog.” As for another Extended Play or an album? That’s due later this year.
