We spoke to PSY about his "Hangover" video, Snoop Dogg and other collabs.

Korean pop music generates the most attention in the US thanks to the crossover success of PSY and the buzz surrounding 2NE1 diva CL’s upcoming English language LP. However, that’s no reason to sleep on J-POP. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu drags the visual aspect of pop music into a completely new dimension time and time again, while (veteran) girl band Perfume continues to churn out winning techno-pop concoctions like new single “Pick Me Up.”

The stylish divas dropped the video today (April 1) and it’s a typically bizarre affair. Kashiyuka, A~chan and Nocchi are minding their own business when they attract the attention of three creepy mannequins. Before you can say “only in Japan,” the ladies are sucked into a store window and spend the next five or so minutes performing their unique brand of choreography — complete with special effects and costume changes. It’s weird, it’s wonderful and it’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Watch up top.
