Smallpools Perform “Karaoke” In A Karaoke Bar: Idolator Premiere
Smallpools are no strangers to major stages, but when happens when they tackle a local bar? Today (April 2), we are premiering a fun video that finds the LA four-piece taking over a karaoke spot in Santa Monica, CA back in February.
The very entertaining clip features the boys singing their 2014 hit, “Karaoke,” over the instrumental of — get this — The Killers’ 2008 tune, “Human.” How meta is that? When the song kicked in, the crowd looked a bit confused. But once the band began interacting with the audience while doing some ’80s glam rock-worthy dance moves, everyone ultimately had a great time!
When they’re not fooling around in karaoke bars, Smallpools are gearing up for their upcoming North American tour. The 32-date trek begins on April 11 in Tuscon, AZ. It then hits cities like Nashville, Toronto and New York City before wrapping up in their hometown of Los Angeles on May 29.
The tour is in support of LOVETAP!, Smallpools’ debut album that was released on March 23 via RCA Records. Watch the singalong video up top, and check out the band’s tour dates below!
