After racking up two huge international hits with remixes (Mr. Probz’s “Waves” and Lilly Wood & The Prick’s “Prayer In C”), Robin Schulz teamed up with 14-year-old Jasmine Thompson for “Sun Goes Down” and landed a chart smash of his own. The German DJ now returns with “Headlights” — singer/songwriter Isley takes over vocal duties — and it sounds like another winner.

Co-produced by prolific hitmakers Ricky Reed, Axident, Joe London and John Ryan, the moody house anthem warns of the flip side of life in the fast lane (“don’t be a fool for the city nights, I know it’s cool but it’s only light”). That idea is communicated visually by showing the inevitable circle of life with young lovers and aerobics-practicing pensioners. It’s surreal and strangely beautiful. Watch up top.
