Zayn Malik Speaks: "I Can't Do This Anymore"
Zayn Malik chose to give an interview explaining his decision to leave the band.

The show must go on, and the One Direction boys are determined to keep it going after the shocking departure of their bandmate, Zayn Malik, last month.

The group spoke to The Sun for the first time since becoming a quartet, where they reassured fans on their commitment to staying together — and admitted their anguish following Zayn’s exit.

“We’re gutted that Zayn chose to leave, but now after a few performances as a four-piece, we’re feeling confident and are determined to carry on stronger than ever,” said Liam Payne. Louis Tomlinson echoed the sentiment of Liam’s original Twitter response following the shake-up: “All four of us are 100% committed to staying in One Direction and we want to thank the fans for being so incredible during this time.”

Harry Styles even provided some hope regarding their FOUR follow-up: “It’s very exciting to be working on our fifth album. It shows how incredible the fans have been. A huge thank you to them for everything they’ve done for us. All the love to them.”
