Iggy Azalea Talks Britney And Her Postponed Tour
Iggy Azalea opens up about her duet with Britney Spears and her rescheduled summer tour.

Tinashe collaborated with Iggy Azalea on a remix of current single “All Hands On Deck” and was originally slated to be part of the rapper’s postponed summer tour. That makes the Aquarius diva as good an authority as any to address the backlash facing the Australian hitmaker.

She was asked about the tour during a radio interview with Hot 97 and explained the postponement as follows: “They said that it was production reasons, they couldn’t get the production value together that she wanted for her show.” The 22-year-old also clarified that there’s no bad blood between them and showed a lot of class by jumping to the femcee’s defense.

“I support all women in music, especially I think it’s really amazing when two female rappers like Nicki and Iggy can both be so successful at the same time,” Tinashe said. “I don’t understand why people have to pit each other, pit people against each other and try to make a beef. Everyone’s so addicted to drama. Why not let her shine, do her thing?”

When asked if she copped any backlash for collaborating with Iggy, Tee kept it real. “When I first tweeted the links and everything — there was definitely a lot of hate on Twitter and social media,” she admitted. “I’m not really worried about it… trolls will be trolls, haters gonna hate.” So, does she still stand by the “All Hands On Deck” remix? “I think she did a good job… that’s why I was like, ‘alright this sounds cool’.”
