Lana Del Rey Talks 'Honeymoon'
Lana Del Rey isn't wasting any time between albums! She spills the beans on third LP.

Lana Del Rey recently hit the studio with “Uptown Funk” hitmaker Mark Ronson. He has already spoken about listening to the diva’s third LP Honeymoon, but reveals that they are working on new material in an interview with Q-Tip. “I’m going to do some recording with Lana Del Rey today and tomorrow,” the producer divulged. “I found this cool old studio out here.”

What’s the exact nature of the collaboration? “She has some songs and I said I had some demo ideas, and if they are any good, then maybe she’ll like them and we’ll go from there.” It all sounds rather vague, but it’s a tantalizing prospect given Mark’s work on Amy Winehouse’s seminal Back To Black LP. His involvement is also another indication that Lana is returning to the gloomy pop of debut album Born To Die.

“It’s very different from the last one and similar to the first two, Born to Die and Paradise,” Lana told Billboard in January. “I finished my last one in March and released it in June and I had a follow-up idea. It’s growing into something I really like.” The much-anticipated record is tentatively due in August.
