Zedd Unveils The Cover And Release Date Of Sophomore LP ‘True Colors’
It’s a big day for Zedd’s growing legion of fans. The German DJ unveiled the suitably kaleidoscopic cover of sophomore LP True Colors and shared the release date. (It drops May 19). The press release hints at a slew of high-profile featured artists being announced in the coming weeks, but at present the only confirmed guest is rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez. She lends her voice, of course, to the album’s lead single “I Want You To Know.”
That song is proving to be a hit on pop radio and has been a steady seller on iTunes, but the lack of a live performance has hindered its chart performance. Nevertheless, “I Want You To Know” still managed to debut at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and will keep dance floors buzzing until summer. The 25-year-old made the leap from in-demand dance producer to breakout star with 2013 smash “Clarity.”
