Florence + The Machine’s forthcoming third album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, is not out until June — but that isn’t stopping the act from continuing to release new music! The latest is titled “Ship To Wreck,” is a more upbeat tune that highlights Florence Welch’s stunning voice that is laid over a steadily beating guitar-and-percussion melody.

In a press release, Welch described the song: “I was thinking about my own self destructive side, and how you can make something only to tear it down, enjoy/destroy, create/devastate etc. When you’re in that whirlwind, you often end up breaking the thing you love the most.”

Florence + The Macine’s third LP How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (out on June 2) is produced by Markus Dravs and features songwriting credits from Paul Epworth, Kid Harpoon and John Hill. It features tracks like “St. Jude” and “What Kind Of Man.”
