Can You Believe This Is Kylie Minogue? See Her Marlene Dietrich-Channeling ‘Sorbet’ Cover
Who knew Kylie Minogue was the best contestant never to appear on RuPaul’s Drag Race? The Australian pop star sets the bar for visual transformation to new heights by channeling Marlene Dietrich with uncanny accuracy on the cover of Sorbet magazine. She gets the German screen icon’s hair, make-up, eyebrows and fierce attitude just right. And it’s a not a Photoshop special either — you can see a behind-the-scenes pic below and it’s just as convincing.
I’m not exactly sure why Kylie is channeling film legends for random lifestyle magazines, but it probably has something to do with promoting the second European leg of her Kiss Me Once world tour. The 46-year-old is also working on new music with “Right Here Right Now” collaborator Giorgio Moroder and “Sleepwalker” producer Fernando Garibay. Hopefully, we’ll hear something new by the end of the year. Until then, check out her latest cover below.
