The Internet Is Convinced That Mariah Carey’s New Single Is Called “Infinity”
Mariah Carey is starting over in 2015! The legendary diva recently switched record labels and just fired her whole publicity team. And frankly, it’s about time. Everything about the Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse era was embarrassing except the (fantastic) music. There was that botched surprise rollout, endless delays and scrapped singles. It’s not surprising that Lambs are overjoyed that Mimi finally stepped up and cleaned house.
That leads us to her next move. And happily, the flawless 45-year-old might have given us a clue. “Work hard, play hard #WeBelongTogether #Infinity @LA_Reid @Chamberprny,” she captioned a picture with Epic Records head honcho L.A. Reid and her new publicist. Lambs immediately latched on to the hashtag and deducted that it was the title of her new single. It sounds like a reach, but the pop icon’s #1’s LP is being reissued to coincide with her Las Vegas residency, so it makes sense to include new content.
