Christina Aguilera Is Releasing Two New Singles
Baby Jane is returning to save iTunes with new singles "Shotgun" and "The Real Thing."

Earlier this week Christina Aguilera revealed that she is releasing two singles to tie in with her stint on ABC drama Nashville. “The Real Thing” and “Shotgun” drop soon enough (April 21), but you can preview the former in a new promo video. “Baby I’m coming,” the diva howls on stage. “I’m the real thing!” Interestingly, it’s not a country song as first expected. It turns out Xtina plays the Queen of Pop (ie. herself) on the show.

There’s so much to love about this. Christina serves eardrum-bursting vocals, looks incredible in that candy-colored wig and plays a messy character that seduces/falls in love with the King of Country. They might as well just give the 34-year-old all of the acting awards now! Xtina’s one line of dialogue (“I haven’t seen you in a long time, Luke Wheeler) is already the best piece of television this year. Watch the promo below.
