Brandon Flowers' "Can't Deny My Love" Video
It features Evan Rachel Wood and Richard Butler, and it's gloriously over the top.

Brandon Flowers appears to be out of harm’s way  in his “Still Want You” video, which surfaced online on April 10 after various teasers. When he isn’t sitting quietly at a fire escape, the singer has dancers moving their arms behind him as if inspired by Madonna’s “Vogue” video.

Still, in the hook of his uplifting new song, Flowers swears to us that he’ll be faithful, even through the most trying times. “Time is passing by, I still want you / Crime is on the rise, I still want you,” he sings, smiling. “Climate change and debt, I still want you / Nuclear distress, I still want you.”

Perhaps Flowers is still dreaming of the intimidating cult from his surreal “Can’t Deny My Love” video, starring Evan Rachel Wood as his wife and Richard Butler as a staff-wielding mythic.

“Still Want You” is the second single that Flowers has released from his next solo album The Desired Effect, out May 18. Watch the charming music video, directed by Warren Fu, up top.
