Marina And The Diamonds’ “Froot” single is already a juicy gem on its own, but MS MR decided to put their own spin with a remix!
The new take keeps the backbone of the original tune, but diverts slightly with wobbly vocal effects, distortion and hard-hitting drums. The duo’s own Lizzy Plapinger is the co-founder of NYC’s Neon Gold Records (which Marina is signed to), so it’s very cool this version came together!
MS MR recently released their killer “Painted” single, which is the first taste off their upcoming sophomore LP. As for the FROOT goddess? Marina And The Diamonds is currently promoting the new record. It includes tracks like “Gold,” “Forget,” “I’m A Ruin,” “Happy” and “Immortal.”
