They’re baaaaack

Swedish pop act A*Base posted a short preview of their second single online today, and this time around they’re taking on Ace Of Base’s global breakout hit “All That She Wants” (which originally reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1993, and #1 in the UK).

The teenage band became something of a guilty-pleasure sensation when they released debut single “Never Gonna Say I’m Sorry” last fall, originally a cut that appeared on Ace Of Base’s 1995 sophomore LP The Bridge. It wasn’t the obvious choice for an AOB tribute act, but the quintet are jumping straight into it this time around with “All That She Wants.”
